#1 - Hair Removal With Coconut oil
So this one is not exactly will remove your hair, but will make shaving experience better. Swap out your shaving cream for coconut oil. It's a great way to get a close shave while hydrating your legs at the same time. This is especially great for people with sensitive skin who are prone to razor burn.
How to use:
· Keep a jar of Virgin Coconut Oil in the shower.
· Using about a teaspoon, massage into your legs or underarms, then shave as usual.
· When shaving, rinse your razor often; it will quickly build up with oil.
Benefits:
· You will get a close and very smooth shave.
· As Virgin Coconut Oil is naturally antibacterial, it will protect against razor burn.
· The heat of your shower will open up your pores, allowing the coconut oil to moisturize your skin at the same time, so saving you moisturizing after the shower, but of course, you can still do that too.
· This is another way of reducing chemicals from your beauty regime and one of the many uses for Virgin Coconut Oil that you might not have thought of.

#2 - Hair Removal With Baking Soda
Apart from making your baked food delicious, this chemical compound is one of the popular ingredients in many home remedies. Baking soda has properties that make it ideal to whiten your teeth, reduce excess oil from your hair, and remove hair from your body parts.
Benefits:
· Using baking soda for natural hair removal is not only hassle-free, but it is economical as well.
· Most importantly, if you are looking for painless ways to get rid of unwanted hair, there is nothing as effective as baking soda hair removal packs.
· This remedy does not only decrease the hair growth but lightens the dark part of your skin as well. When you use products with hazardous chemicals, dark spots develop on your skin. Therefore, using baking soda is one way to fix two issues.
· Lemon and baking soda kills hair follicles thus hair growth is slower
Recipe 1:
INGREDIENTS:
· Lemon juice
· Baking soda
· Water (if required)
METHOD
· Mix a small portion of baking soda with a few drops of lemon juice.
· Add water to make a thick paste.
· Apply this mixture on the affected part and let it sit for 15 minutes.
· Wash it off as you normally would.
Recipe 2:
INGREDIENTS:
· Baking Soda
· Water
METHOD
· Mix baking soda with water.
· Apply it on your arms, legs, or face.
· Rub your skin while washing it.
#3 - Hair Removal With Coffee
Yes, beside waking you up in the morning, this magic drink has many uses in natural beauty routine. One of them is removing hair!

INGREDIENTS:
· Coffee
· Baking Soda
METHOD
· Take 2 Tbsp of Coffee grinds, mix in 1 tsp of Baking Soda and 1 tsp of coconut oil and mix well.
· Wipe off the portion from where you want to remove facial hair with a cotton ball and apply this mix on that portion.
· Allow it to sit for a minute and then start rubbing it in circular motions.
· Repeat this process every day for a week and see how you get rid of facial hair with these 2 simple ingredients.
Benefits:
· The baking soda intensifies the compounds of the coffee, breaking down the hair follicles at the root.
· This mix works as an excellent hair removal compound and works very gently on the skin.
· Try it out, and you will get rid of all facial hair in a week. You can use this mix to get rid of unwanted hair on any part of your body.
#4 - Hair Removal With Sugar
Sugaring is a natural form of hair removal similarly to traditional Waxing, as it removes the hair from the root, but is a lot less painful. Just from that description, it sounds divine. So what makes sugaring so much better than waxing?
Benefits:
· Well, being that you use all-natural ingredients.
· The wax itself clings to the hair and not to your skin. So all you feel is your hair being pulled rather than your skin being pinched.
· It is much better for those with sensitive skin as well. Whether you are prone to razor bumps, razor burn, or allergic to the ingredients in most waxes, this is a great alternative.
· Oh, and even better, your hair only has to be around ⅛ of an inch long to sugar wax, it has to be double that for a traditional wax.
Recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
· 2 cups of white cane sugar,
· ¼ cup lemon juice,
· ¼ cup of water
Note: This homemade hair removal method can be used for legs, arms, underarms, and even your bikini area. It is also completely water-soluble, so you don't need a special remover for rogue wax bits. It is easily removed with water from both your skin and fabric.
METHOD
· Mix together the previously mentioned ingredients in a heavy saucepan and heat it over medium-high heat.
· Stir often so the mixture does not overheat.
· Once the mixture comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 25 minutes. This is important because you can easily over or under-cook it, and then it will be too sticky to work with. You want your mixture to be a dark amber or maroon color. You have to be patient with this, and make sure it is actually that dark before removing it from the heat.
· Once the color is perfect, as seen above, let it cool for about 10 minutes, then pour it into an airtight container.
· If you choose to use a glass jar, remember to warm it up with hot water, so it doesn't shatter once the hot mixture is poured in.
· Once in the container, the mixture should be dark brown and opaque. The mixture will have to cool for a while. You can use it when it is still warm or at room temperature, but I let it cool overnight and then pop it in the microwave for about 20 seconds before using it.
HOW TO APPLY AND REMOVE
· You want to make sure your skin is dry. You may be sweating or have lotion on, so use baby powder all over lightly to absorb any excess moisture.
· You may have to repeat this process throughout. If your skin is wet, the wax will not stick.
· You do not want to apply the wax onto your skin how you would with traditional Waxing. You want to do the exact opposite.
· Use a rubber spatula for the application, but you can use your hands too.
· You want to scoop out the wax, work it into a ball, and then apply the wax in the opposite direction of your hair growth. This will lift the hairs and make sure they are all in the same direction. And then when you rip it off with a flicking motion, you go in the direction of the hair growth.
· This makes the process so much less painful and dramatically reduces the change of ingrown hairs.

Conventional Hair Removal Methods
You can remove body hair in several ways, whether at the surface or at the root. Some women may just use one method to remove body hair, while others will use multiple hair removal methods depending on what body part they want to remove hair from and for what occasion. Either way, learning about the various options can help ensure you choose the right one(s) for you.
Surface Hair Removal Methods
Surface hair removal methods cut hair at the surface of the skin, not the root.
1. Manual shaving
Shaving with a manual razor is one of the most popular hair removal methods; it's easy, affordable, and fast. Soak your skin in warm water via a shower or bath by taking a few minutes, apply shaving gel, and use a sharp razor blade moving with light, steady strokes. After you finish shaving, rinse, pat your skin dry, and apply a moisturizer.
Wet shaving with a sharp razor can be used anywhere; however, it's particularly great for legs, armpits, arms, and bikini line. In general, we recommend women shave every one to three days during a shower or bath if the goal is to maintain smooth skin.
Advantages:
· Can do daily
· Quick and effective
· Inexpensive
· Can do anywhere
Disadvantages:
· Can cause razor burn
· Can cause ingrown hairs when done incorrectly
· Frequent upkeep
2. Electric shaving
An electric razor has a moving blade under a fine screen that glides across your skin, trapping and cutting away the hair from the surface. What makes an electric razor different than a manual razor is that you typically shave dry skin rather than wet skin.
Dry shaving with an electric device can be used anywhere. It works well for legs, arms, underarms, and bikini line. Electric razors usually do not cut the hair as closely as manual razors do, so if you want to maintain smooth skin, you may need to shave more often — in general, every one to two days.
Advantages:
· Can do daily
· Can dry shave
· Safe and easy to use
· Can come with several attachments and features
Disadvantages:
· Typically takes longer than wet shaving and isn't as effective
· Frequent upkeep
· Can be expensive and is larger than a manual razor
3. Depilatory creams
Depilatory creams chemically dissolve body hair at the surface of the skin. Apply the cream, let it sit for several minutes, and then use a clean washcloth to gently rub off the cream and hair residue. Rinse off your skin and apply a moisturizer.
This hair removal method is better for smaller areas of the body, such as armpits, bikini line, and upper lip. Depilatory creams can slow down hair growth for a few days up to several weeks, depending on the person.
Advantages:
· Risk-free of cuts and scratches
· Hair appears softer when it grows back because it has not cut a blunt edge
Disadvantages:
· Can be messy
· May have an unpleasant smell
· Can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions due to chemical ingredients
Root Hair Removal Methods
Methods for root homemade hair removal for legs, face, bikini, and other bodywork to remove hairs by the root rather than the surface of the skin.
1. Tweezing
Tweezing works by pulling out hair strands by the root with a pair of tweezers. To help lower chances of infection, be sure to clean the tweezers after each use. This hair removal method can last two to six weeks and works best on smaller areas of the body, such as the eyebrows and upper lip.
Advantages:
· Long-lasting results
· Effective, inexpensive and easy to do
· Can be quick when used in small areas
Disadvantages:
· Can be painful, cause skin irritation and ingrown hairs, especially if the hair breaks, as opposed to pulling out cleanly
· Not efficient for larger area hair removal needs
2. Waxing
Waxing can be done by a professional at a salon or at home with a waxing kit. You apply hot or cold wax to your skin in the same direction as the hair growth. After letting the wax set, grab a fabric strip, smooth it across your skin, and quickly remove the strip going against the direction of the hair growth to pull out the hair from the root.
Waxing can be used on any area of the body and works well on legs, bikini line, underarms, eyebrows, and upper lip. The waxing frequency will vary but, on average, wax every three to six weeks to maintain smoothness.
Advantages:
· Long-lasting results
· Fast and effective
Disadvantages:
· Can be painful and cause skin irritation, redness, and ingrown hairs
· Starts to get expensive if applied by a professional
· Does not always pull away all of the hairs in a single strip
· Waxing not recommended until body hair grows to a certain length
3. Epilation
Epilation removes hair for up to four weeks by using a device called an epilator that has tiny electric rotating tweezers that move across the surface of the skin to quickly pull the hairs away. Epilators can be used on all parts of the body, and work great for legs, arms, underarms, bikini line and face.
Advantages:
· Long-lasting results
· Easy to use
· Versatile attachments and features
· Works both on wet or dry skin
Disadvantages:
· Can be uncomfortable on sensitive areas and cause irritation
4. Laser or pulsed light treatments
Laser and intense pulsated light (IPL) devices provide a more permanent hair removal method with regular treatment. You can get laser and IPL treatments performed by a professional, or you can purchase an IPL device to use at home. Laser hair removal uses a single laser beam to target melanin in hair follicles to prevent regrowth.
IPL works similarly but uses broad-spectrum light. Both hair removal methods can be used anywhere, but work best on darker body hair. Laser and IPL can offer a more permanent hair removal solution in 4 to 12 treatments; some women may need a touch up every six to 12 months.
Advantages:
· A more permanent hair removal solution with regular treatments
· Effective results
Disadvantages:
· Can cause irritation, burns, swelling, and reddening of the skin
· Can be uncomfortable
· Is more costly than other hair removal methods
